Heritage Park Trip

Wow!
What an exciting day we had.
We would like to say a big 'Thank You' to all of our parent helpers without you we would not have been able to go. :)

Special Speaker

Today we were lucky enough to have someone special come and talk to
us about what the school looked liked 25 years ago. Did you know that
there were only 7 classes back then and the court outside room 11 and 12 was
a huge sandpit. Ned didn't have a computer when he was at school.

Discovery Time

We came into our class and there were some strange
things sitting on the table.

We were allowed to touch and have time looking at
things on the table.

We talked about how things looked different.

Kaine said "This is really heavy" 

Opal said "I like this doll"

Toby "It sounds like a duck"

Lathan "You can look through the hole and spy things"

Reuban
"They are the same but one is old and one is new because it has colour"

We thought that this was a mouse trap or a boat.
 We can't wait to see how it works.
